How to write an email to a prospective domme
HOW TO ADDRESS YOUR EMAIL:
Dear Miss/Ma'am/Mistress/Etc.... <READ THEIR PROFILE to find out if they specifically state how they like to be addressed. If it's not stated refer to the title they've selected in their Username. If all else fails you can't go wrong with using Ma'am. By referencing their profile for the proper manner of address you are showing that you: 1) Took time on them by reading their profile, 2) Pay attention to detail, which is a highly sought after by most Dommes, and 3) It shows your ability to adhere to basic rules and protocol.>
BODY OF YOUR MESSAGE:
Ma'am (or other form of address, re: above) I found your profile very intriguing and wanted to message you in the hopes of communicating with you further. I am very interested to lean more about what you are seeking in the hopes of seeing if I could be a good match for your service. <In saying this you are NOT professing unlimited loyalty and immediate submission where a Domme will normally not take you seriously since, at this stage, you know virtually nothing about each other. By saying things like this you are telling her you are interested in her, what she's like, what SHE is seeking without throwing out your laundry list of desires that makes it seem like you're looking for her to service you.> I do not wish to waste any of your precious time so I would like to take this opportunity to express to you that there is something that I feel would be important to a healthy and mutually satisfying relationship between myself and my owner. <By presenting your sissy/foot/whatever fetish here in this manner IF and ONLY IF it truly is something you absolutely cannot live without and would be considered a deal-breaker or bad match if you don't get it in your relationship you are telling her that you value her time. Keep it short and sweet. Most Dommes get a LOT of emails so a short but well configured introduction will stand a better chance at gaining her attention. SPELL CHECK SPELL CHECK GRAMMAR CHECK SPELL CHECK!!!! This cannot be emphasized enough!!! Many internet browsers come with built in spell checkers – USE THEM. Don't have one that does this? Chrome and Firefox has it. Either that or open your word program, write your note, perform spell check, and then manually re-read it. Spell check will only tell you when words are spelled incorrectly. It will NOT tell you if a word is missing or spelled correctly but is not the correct word you wanted. An email with proper spelling and grammar will make reading your email easier on the Domme and shows, again, attention to detail, pride in work, and some basic level of education. Domme's do not seek “dumb slaves.”
